Trimming, removal, storm cleanup and stump grinding
Our tree work is the reason many customers found us, so it has its own page with the details, the seasonal timing and the photos.

A lawn that survives August
A good lawn in North Texas is mostly about doing the boring things on time: mowing at the right height, feeding before the heat, overseeding before the first freeze, and fixing the sprinkler head that's been watering the sidewalk since May. We do it on a schedule you don't have to think about.
What's included in lawn care
Mowing and edging
Weekly or biweekly mowing with edging along every walk and curb, string trimming around beds and fences, and everything blown clean before we leave. We mow Bermuda, St. Augustine and Zoysia at the height each one needs, and raise it in summer so the grass shades its own roots.
Fertilizing grass
We feed on a North Texas schedule: spring green-up, early summer, and a fall feeding that carries the lawn through winter, with products matched to your grass type.
Includes: seasonal program · pre-emergent timing · spot treatment of problem areas
Ryegrass (winter overseeding)
Bermuda goes brown after the first freeze. Overseeding with annual ryegrass from late September through October keeps the lawn green all winter. We seed, top-dress and tell you exactly how to water it in.
Sprinkler replacement and repair
Broken heads, leaking valves, zones that won't come on, and coverage that leaves a dry strip down the middle. We replace heads and risers, fix valves, and set the controller to your city's watering schedule.

Built for black clay and 100-degree summers
Landscaping here has to survive two things: weeks of 100-degree heat and a heavy clay soil that holds water for days after a storm. We design and install beds, patios and drainage that work with both instead of fighting them.
What's included in landscaping
Landscape installation and redesign
New beds, plant selection, edging, stone borders and the layout that ties it together. We favor plants that already like North Texas (Texas sage, dwarf yaupon, crape myrtle, lantana, salvia, native grasses) so it looks good in year three, not just on install day. You get a plan before we dig.
Flagstone patio
Oklahoma or Arizona flagstone on a compacted base with proper drainage slope, dry-set with decomposed granite joints or mortared for a tighter finish. Patios, walkways, fire pit areas and seating pads.
French drain
If water stands against your foundation or turns part of the yard into a swamp after every rain, a French drain is usually the fix: a sloped gravel trench with perforated pipe that carries the water to a curb, a dry well or a lower part of the lot. Read our French drain guide.

When the yard gets away from you
A rental turned over, a relative's house going on the market, or one fall of oak leaves that buried everything. We bring the crew and the trailer, and the yard ends up cleaner than you expected.
What's included in cleanup
General clean-up
Overgrown beds, volunteer trees along the fence, branch piles, dead shrubs and the corner nobody has touched in years. Cut, bagged, hauled, and ready to mow or replant.
Raking leaves and acorns
Red oaks and live oaks drop leaves and acorns from October into January. Left on the lawn, a matted layer shades out the grass all winter. We rake, blow, bag and haul, and can put you on a recurring fall schedule.
Gutter cleaning
Full gutters overflow at the corners and dump water at the foundation, the last place you want it on clay. We clean and flush gutters and downspouts, and tell you if one needs an extension.
Rock and debris removal
Old landscape rock, broken concrete, leftover construction material. We load it and take it away, and can replace it with mulch or sod on the same visit.

A new lawn in a day, if the ground is ready
New sod fixes a bad lawn in a day, as long as the ground is prepared and the timing is right. Same with trees and shrubs: planting is the easy part. The prep and the first summer decide whether they live.
What's included in sod & planting
Sod installation
Old grass and weeds out, graded so water runs away from the house, clay amended where it's worst, and fresh Bermuda, St. Augustine or Zoysia laid tight. Rolled, watered in, with a two-week watering plan. When to lay sod in Garland.
New trees and bushes
Species that handle heat and clay (live oak, cedar elm, Chinese pistache, desert willow, crape myrtle, vitex), planted at the right depth with a mulch ring and staking. Fall and winter planting gives roots a head start.
Seasonal flowers
Color at the entry, changed with the season: pansies for winter, petunias in spring, periwinkle and lantana for the heat, mums in fall.

The fastest way to make a yard look cared for
Fresh mulch does real work underneath: it holds moisture through July, keeps weeds down, and buffers roots from a hard freeze. It also makes the whole front of the house look new.
What's included in mulch & beds
Mulch application
Hardwood, cedar or black-dyed mulch spread two to three inches deep and pulled back from trunks and stems. Beds edged first so the line is clean and the mulch stays put. Mulch or rock? Our guide.
Flower bed cleanout and refresh
Dead plants and weeds out, soil turned and amended, a new edge cut, then new plants or fresh mulch to finish. Once a year keeps the front of the house looking new.
